Hidden to Y Tour

Beautiful Lamoille county sunshine up in the Notch today.  Enjoyed a great outing with my friend Silas Rossi.  Silas is training for his final exam to achieve his IFMGA license, so we linked up a tour comprised of many transitions, route finding and of course deep snow.  It began with a beautiful skin up to Hidden Gully, climbed a few pitches of water ice and steep snow, then a beautiful ski down a very interesting feature to the beaver pond.   The snow was so good we headed North and skinned and skied another mountain of bottomless powder through the open hardwoods.  An amazing day of great weather, awesome turns and wonderful camaraderie, thanks Silas!
